NAACP sends sympathy to law enforcement
The regional branch of the NAACP in Salt Lake City has issued a statement in response to the killing of Dallas police officers overnight. The statement follows:
Jeanetta Williams, President of the NAACP Salt Lake Branch and Tri-State Conference of Idaho, Nevada and Utah said “The NAACP sends our heartfelt sympathy to Dallas Police Officers, families and victims of the senseless sniper shootings and killings of Police Officers Thursday night. We believe that these shootings were in retaliation of the two shootings of African American men this week by police officers in Louisiana and Minnesota. All Lives Matter and we do not condone these shootings or any attacks on Law Enforcement officers. “
