Brush Fire burns near homes in south Pocatello
Firefighters quickly extinguished a brush fire in a field near the Sunny Creek Trailer Park on So. 5th Ave. in Pocatello.
The fire was near I-15. It started at 1:55 p.m.
About 4 acres burned, according to the Pocatello fire chief.
The fire did come close to 3 homes, he said, but was able to stop it.
It’s unknown what started the fire, he said.
