Custer & Lemhi County air quality warnings are lifted
The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (IDEQ) is lifting an air quality caution for both Custer and Lemhi Counties.
As of Wednesday, IDEQ has listed air quality in the “good” category. It is expected to range from good to moderate in the near future.
At “moderate” levels, air quality is acceptable, although people who are unusually sensitive to air pollution may experience health impacts and consider reducing prolonged or heavy exertion.
The agency has also lifted open burning restrictions for the two counties.
