Idaho Falls man arrested for Jefferson County vehicle burglaries
Jefferson County detectives believe the arrest of Mark Vielma, 25, of Idaho Falls Monday may have resolved a number of vehicle burglaries.
Detective Dustin Johnson said he developed information that led deputies to the Cambridge subdivision on the night of September 5th.
While there, deputies watched a suspicious vehicle enter the subdivision. Deputies stopped the vehicle while it was exiting the area.
Vielma was driving. Deputies found suspected stolen property and burglary tools in the vehicle.
He was arrested and charged with 11 counts of vehicle burglary.
All of the thefts are still under investigation. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said additional arrests are pending.
