Man killed in 2-car collision
A Washington man was killed in a two-car collision south of Idaho Falls Monday.
Bonneville County Sheriff’s office said Frank J. Kennedy III, 56, died from his injuries.
Just after 2:30 p.m., Kennedy was driving a Chevy pickup west on 97th S. with a 49-year-old woman passenger, deputies said. They said it appeared that Kennedy failed to yield at 15th E. He collided with a car driven by a 69-year-old Idaho Falls woman.
Both women were transported to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown. Both women were wearing their seatbelts.
Deputies said Kennedy was ejected from the pickup and later died.
