Man arrested for grand theft and unlawful possession

Idaho Falls Police arrested Jason D. Hodge,37, for grand theft and unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon Saturday. Police said they were notified that Hodge was in possession of a stolen truck and tools at a residence in the 100 block of South Corner. According to reports, police were told Hodge also had possession of a gun. Officers made contact and found Hodge was in possession of a stolen truck, numerous stolen tools, and a stolen pistol. Hodge has two felony convictions in the state of California. He was being held in the Bonneville County jail.
