Blackfoot man pleads innocent in infant’s death

Jesus Adan Castillo,22, pleaded innocent to charges of first-degree murder in Bingham County Thursday. Castillo is charged in connection with the death of an 18-month-old boy. The child sustained head and abdominal injuries. Blackfoot Police were called to a home in the 1600 block of Camas Street at around 4 a.m. March 23. The child was taken to Bingham Memorial Hospital in critical condition. He was later transferred to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. The boy died on March 25. Castillo was being held on $1 million bond in the Bingham County Jail. He will appear in court again in August.
