“Be the Dinosaur” exhibit now open
“Be the Dinosaur” is now on display at the Idaho Museum of Natural History in Pocatello.
The exhibit opened on Saturday and lots of kids came out to see it.
It’s made to be an interactive exhibit for kids. It combines two of kids’ favorite things: dinosaurs and video games.
There are multiple video game consoles where kids can play as a T-Rex or triceratops and try to survive in the Cretaceous period.
There is also a safari jeep where kids can drive through the wild and explore a dinosaur’s habitat.
There are also several dinosaur fossils on display for kids to see.
Museum hours are Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults, $3 for kids (ages 4 to 17) and $5 for seniors.
“Be the Dinosaur” exhibit will remain on display until Sept. 6.
