Sixth suspect arrested in Rexburg drug investigation

UPDATE: 5-17-17 Rexburg Police have arrested another man as part of an ongoing drug investigation. Cody Dean Dillard, 30, was arrested on three felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance, marijuana Wednesday, May 17.
Dillard was being held in the Madison County Jail on $100,000 bond.

Rexburg Police arrested five people Thursday night, May 11, in connection with a drug investigation into a home at 375 West Main Street.

Captain Randy Lewis said police began investigating suspicious activity at the house in January. Several undercover drug buys led to the arrests on Thursday. Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were recovered.

Mark Lee Jones, 46, was arrested on eight felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance and several additional counts of selling drugs within a thousand feet of a school. He was being held on $100,000 bond.

His wife, Nicole Peterson, 46, faces two felony counts. She was being held on $25,000 bond.

Three other people were also arrested on misdemeanor charges at the scene. They were identified as Amber Rae Jones-Kairis,37, Evelyn Guadalupe Godinez, 31, and Andrew James Reynolds, 32.

The investigation is continuing and additional charges could follow.
