Forecast for May 20th and 21st 2017
Thunderstorms and warmer temps will begin to make a comeback as we head into our weekend. The closed-low that brought us all those winter-like conditions is exiting into the Plains, giving us a northwesterly flow for the next few days. There is a small ripple of moisture moving across the Intermountain West for the weekend which will result in late day thunderstorm chances. Saturday, mostly sunny during the first chunk of the day with some isolated thunderstorms building up late in the day and overnight. Highs into the mid and upper 60’s and a 40% chance of evening thunderstorms. Sunday, Scattered showers and thunderstorms with partly sunny skies. Highs into the upper 60’s. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Monday, mostly sunny with highs into the lower 70’s, scattered thunderstorms in far Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming. Tuesday, Mostly sunny, with a highs into the mid 70’s.
