Multiple construction projects to begin July 26 in Idaho Falls
HK Construction Inc. plans to begin seven construction projects around Idaho Falls on Wednesday.
Crews will begin repairs at River Drive -approximately 300 feet north of Temple Place, Woodruff Avenue and 1st Street intersection, 25th Street from Channing Way to Barbara Avenue, Science Center Drive and Elmore Avenue intersection, W. 17th South from Stosich Lane to Newman Drive, Willowbrook Addition – streets between N. Boulevard and N. Lee and E. Shelley east to Holmes Avenue.
The project includes roadway excavation, removal and replacement of existing ADA ramps and curb at intersections, adjusting manholes and water valves, milling existing asphalt and replacing asphalt overlays.
The company said the work is scheduled to only affect a portion of the existing roadways at a time, and local businesses will be accessible during construction.
Night closures may be needed at the intersection of Science Center Drive and Elmore Avenue and on 25th Street between Barbara Avenue and Channing Way.
The project is expected to be completed in two months.
