Fire crews fight structure fire near Rigby

A large structure fire started just after 7 p.m. southeast of Rigby Thursday night.

Carl Anderson, the assistant fire chief with Central Fire District said the fire got into a garage and some outbuildings. A camper and a boat were fully-involved when firefighters arrived.

The fire happened near 4054 East and 73 North in Rigby.

Anderson said it’s early yet, but they are looking at two possible causes. Firefighters know the homeowner was out burning some weeds in the barnyard area and there was some possible charring around an electric fence.

No injuries reported.

Chief Anderson is still tallying up the total damage.
