Detailed Forecast For August 4th

Most will remain in the 90s in the Snake River Plain for today. The thunderstorm threat remains very weak, with only a slight chance towards Island Park & West Yellowstone for today. The weekend will have a better chance for T-storms as the ridge over Oregon and Washington begins to break down. This will also lead to continued cooling, as the Snake Plain could see upper 80s rather than low to mid 90s. Friday: Highs in the low 90s and hazy. Tonight: Clear with lows in the low 50’s. Saturday: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80’s and low 90’s. Sunday: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80’s and low 90’s, with the slight chance for mtn showers. Monday: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80’s, with a chance for mtn showers.
