ISP investigates spare tire marijuana hideaway

The Caribou County Sheriff’s Office is working to determine how an amount of marijuana found its way into a spare tire.

According to Chief Deputy Matthew Galloway, a resident of the county had a flat tire and tried to replace it with a spare.

He noticed the spare tire appeared unbalanced and took his vehicle to a local repair shop for inspection.

The repair shop found that marijuana had been concealed in the tire.

Idaho State Police are now investigating.
