Teton County deputies seek assault suspect
UPDATE: 8-7-17 Victor Mayor Jeff Potter is expressing the community’s shock at the sexual assault that happened in the city early Friday morning.
“On behalf of the City of Victor, our deepest sympathies go out to the victim,” said Potter. “We would like her to know that her community is here for her and we will do everything in our ability to support law enforcement’s efforts to identify and apprehend the perpetrator.”
The city is encouraging the community to report any suspicious behavior or information that might lead to the person involved in the assault.
State Police and the Teton County Sheriff’s Office have not released any further information. ORIGINAL STORY: Teton County, Idaho deputies are looking for a suspect who assaulted a female victim. The Teton County Sheriff’s Office said the violent assault happened about 1 a.m. Friday. The victim said she did not know the man. He is described as a white male, with buzz-cut hair.
