Snake River School District 52 closes for eclipse

Snake River School District 52 will be closed Monday, August 21 for the eclipse.

Superintendent David Kerns said the day was originally a teacher work day, but teachers met earlier this week to make up for the day.

Kerns said all buildings will be closed Monday.

Teachers will return to school Tuesday, and the official first day for students is Wednesday, August 23.
