Weather update for August 19th

Expect gusty winds on Saturday and Sunday. A weak trough will move through the region on Sunday night and Monday morning. This will bring high elevation cloud cover. Currently, models are unclear what time this band of clouds will exit the region on Monday. It is possible the clouds will span from Wyoming to near Blackfoot. Once new data is released, it will be easier to know what time and the direction the cloud cover will move. The rest of the region should not expect any major cloud cover on Monday.

Monsoon moisture is expected to return to our region starting Wednesday morning. Thunderstorms are possible across the region from Wednesday through Friday morning.
