Weather update for August 27th & 28th

A ridge of high pressure will remain centered over the Great Basin for the start of the work week. Isolated thunderstorms are possible across the Central Mountains and southward across the Eastern Magic Valley on Monday. On Tuesday, the Central Mountains and along the Wyoming and Montana border could see thunderstorm activity. Some places across the Snake Plain will see temperatures get up into the 90’s this week.

Monday: Hazy across some areas due to wildfire smoke. Sunny with highs in the high 80’s and low 90’s.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the high 80’s and low 90’s.

Wednesday: Chance of thunderstorm activity across the region. Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80’s.
