Enrollment growth continues at BYU-Idaho

Enrollment continues to grow at BYU Idaho.

Official fall semester enrollment shows a total campus enrollment of 19,399 students, an increase of 7.9 percent over last fall. Another 4,245 campus-based students are taking online courses or fulfilling internships away from campus.

Online coursework has allowed enrollment growth without students having to be on campus. 11,850 students are participating in online coursework this fall, up 12.9 percent from a year ago.

Continued growth in enrollment can be attributed, in large part, to BYU-Idaho’s unique educational emphasis. This includes: the teaching focus of its faculty, the opportunity to gather with other students who share common values, the university’s focus on real-world preparation, and the high-value educational experience offered.
