Last Chance power outage scheduled for Wednesday back on

UPDATE 10/31/17 11:30 a.m.: As of Tuesday morning, Fall River Electric’s operations department determined to PROCEED with Wednesday’s power outage at Last Chance.

Officials report affected members will be notified by phone today, Tuesday, October 31.

UPDATE 12:00 p.m.: This outage has been rescheduled to a future date to be determined.

Fall River Electric Cooperative has scheduled another planned power outage in the Last Chance area of Island Park.

The utility said the outage will last from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 1. Crews will be working to finish replacing power poles in the area. Several additional power poles were identified as needing replacement to ensure reliable delivery of electricity.

The outage will affect about 250 homes and businesses.
