KIFI celebrates the 30th anniversary of Pi Day
Wednesday is the 30th anniversary of Pi Day!
As most people know, Pi represents the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter.
Pi has an infinite number of digits that never repeat, however this has led to people taking on this challenge to calculate as many digits as possible.
The current record was set last year by physicist Peter Trueb who calculated Pi to 22.4 trillion digits.
