Gov. Otter signs law that makes slow left-lane driving illegal
Gov. Butch Otter has signed into law a proposal making it illegal for anyone driving in the left-lane of a freeway to impede the flow of traffic in that lane.
Under the proposal, if drivers are found to be impeding the flow of traffic for an unreasonable period of time, it would be considered an infraction.
The proposal does not require slower-moving cars to avoid the left lane.
