Mystery Samaritan cleans up vandalism

The Caribou-Targhee National Forest is looking for information about vandals who spray painted three panels of an information kiosk at Cherry Springs Nature Area on the Westside Ranger District. The damage occurred sometime Saturday night or early Sunday, March 17.

The forest is also looking to thank whoever it was who took it on themselves to remove the offensive graffiti the vandals sprayed on the information board.

The Nature Area hosts numerous volunteers and scouts who maintain and restore the trail, signs, amphitheater and facilities at the extremely popular family recreation site in the Pocatello area.

Anyone with information about the good, the bad or the ugly should contact the Westside Ranger District office at (208) 235-7500.
