Transmission line blamed for Teton Valley power outage
UPDATE 5:00 p.m.: Fall River Electric reports power has been restored.
ORIGINAL:
Much of the Teton Valley area, including Victor, Driggs, Tetonia, and Alta, Wyoming were without power since about 1 p.m. Friday.
Fall River Electric Coop officials said the outage has been traced to a Bonneville Power transmission line problem.
Crews have been dispatched to repair the problem.
The utility estimates power will be restored by around 4 p.m. Friday.
