Below are the 2018 Easter celebration events going on in eastern Idaho and western Wyoming. Although the list is long, it is not complete. Friday March 23, 2018 GTC Adult Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt – 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Porter Park (188-288 W 2nd S, Rexburg) This is an Easter Egg hunt for you! All adults 18 and over can participate in this Easter Egg Hunt!
There will be 6,000 Easter Eggs spread out all over the park, and you will be searching for the hundreds of winning plastic eggs with only a flashlight to help illuminate your way!
There will be hundreds of prizes, door prizes and the GRAND PRIZE is a 55″ Flat Screen 4K UHD TV. The first 200 participants to register online will receive an Easter “Thank you” gift. Walk-ins are welcome to register at the event.
All eggs are empty and ONLY select eggs are redeemable for prizes
This event is held rain or shine so come bring your friends and have a blast searching for eggs at the Adult Flashlight Easter Egg hunt.
Check in begins at 8:00 p.m., and the Hunt starts at 9:00 p.m. This fundraiser benefits the Grand Teton Council – Boy Scouts of America. More HERE.
Saturday March 24, 2018 Easter Rock Hunt – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Melaleuca Field (900 Jim Garchow Way, Idaho Falls) Idaho Falls and Shelley Rocks, Inc is hosting our second annual community Easter Rock Hunt with the Salvation Army. The hunt will take place at Melaleuca Field in Idaho Falls and admission is free to the public. Gates open at 11:00 a.m., and the hunt begins at 12:30 p.m. While people are waiting for the hunt, there will be carnival style games and other activities for the children. There will be a mixture of free games/activities along with others that require tickets. Other attractions include a free magic show by J.J. the Magician, fun with the rescue dogs from Snake River Animal Shelter and much more. We are asking everyone to bring a donation of non- perishable food, toiletries, hygiene, school supplies or any other group of items that the Salvation Army can benefit by for their community outreach programs. Anyone who brings a donation will be entered into a raffle where they could win bikes, gift cards, and dozens of other prizes. Additional raffle tickets can be earned by bringing painted rocks, candy, and plastic eggs to the Salvation Army before the event. These items can also be dropped off the day of the event. More HERE.
Easter Egg Eggstravaganza – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Old Town Pocatello (420 N. Main Street, Pocatello) Eggciting Family Fun Easter Egg Eggtravaganza! Old Town is the place to be on Saturday, March 24! Participating merchants will have 15,000 Easter Eggs, that’s right, 15,000 eggs filled with fun items for the kids beginning at 11am. The Easter Bunny will be here, too! Bring the family along with baskets to collect the eggs. Walk shop to shop collecting eggs and great coupons from our merchants. More HERE.
Shave ice/Easter Egg Hunt – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at A Taste Of Hawaii 208 (200 S Main St., Pocatello) Serving shave ice during the Easter egg hunt. More HERE.
Mardi Gras – 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the East Idaho Aquarium (570 E Anderson St, Idaho Falls) Join us in this distinctive celebration’s traditions. Music, food, and beads. An event the whole family can enjoy. Two children under the age of 9 will have a chance to be decreed as East Idaho Aquarium’s first Royal Guppies, and will get to participate in the launching of our grand opening day.
All proceeds from this event will go to helping us complete our shark tank exhibit and funding our grand opening.
6 p.m. -7:30 p.m.: Take a Big Easy in our party room and try an authentic gumbo recipe, have a taste of the real deal. $5 Per Bowl
7:30 p.m.-7:45 p.m.: Story Reading on Mardi Gras by our Mermaid from the bayou. Ask about her underwater friends. Truthly, you’ll find their very toothy.
7:45 p.m. – 8 p.m.: King Cake Ceremony. (Complimentary King Cake)

Saturday March 31, 2018 Bills Bike and Run Annual Easter Egg Run – 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Bill’s Bike & Run (930 Pier View Dr, Idaho Falls) The Details: We Use RED eggs 🙂
-When: Anytime you feel like it after 4:30 A.M. Saturday Morning… The Easter Bunny informed us that eggs will not be hidden until after that. He’s a very busy bunny you know.
-Where: The greenbelt starting at Bill’s Bike & Run and following our most common group run route north up and around Freeman Park. Eggs will be hidden on both sides of the greenbelt and around the park path. All eggs will be close proximity to the paved path. No foraging needed smile emoticon. (Granted it is rumored that Gray and his brother help hide the eggs and have a wicked sense of “easy hidding”)
-Rules: We are at the mercy of the inner goodness of people here…. please encourage everyone to play fair and NO stock pilling of eggs! Due to reports of people grabbing eggs for their sleepy friends at home we will have several patrolling runners watching for cheaters! You can only turn one in anyway.
Everyone is encouraged to go out for their early morning run and keep an eye out for an egg. You are limited to one egg. Choose wisely. Every egg will have a number inside it and that number will be associated with a prize. You must redeem your egg at Bills Bike and Run (Idaho Falls location) by the end of the day during normal store hours 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to get your prize. Cannot claim prize for another runner. To claim a prize runners must be 12 or older. For any youngsters we have the Great Egg Hunt at 10 a.m.
-Prizes: Prizes will include everything from free socks, huge discounts, free gear, gift cards, free Shoes, and more! Every egg will get a prize!!
-How many eggs are we talking about you may ask? Well, we will be hiding over a 250 eggs! We will add more if more than 250 rsvp and say they are going out! City of Rexburg’s Easter Egg Hunt – 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at S 2nd W & 3rd W Rexburg The Easter Bunny is coming to Rexburg to provide a fun-filled event for the whole family. We will have over 16,000 eggs, thousands of pieces of candy, 30 bikes for 30 lucky kids and tons of fun! More HERE.

The Great Easter Egg Hunt – 10 a.m. at Snake River Landing in Idaho Falls
The 3rd annual Great Easter Egg Hunt is FREE! For ages 1 to 12. Areas divided by age group. Over 25,000 eggs and over $2,000 in prizes!
Easter Egg Hunt – 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Pinecrest Event Center (560 E. Anderson, Idaho Falls) Indoor Easter egg hunt open to the public. Lots of eggs filled with candy and prizes. Doors open at 9 a.m. More HERE.
Easter Egg Hunt for children with special needs – 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Bonneville High School (3165 East Iona Road, Idaho Falls) This will be the 7th annual Easter Egg Hunt for children with special needs and their families at Bonneville High School on Iona Road in Idaho Falls.
Designated areas for children from 1-10+ and a separate accessible area for our kids in wheelchairs and using walkers will be provided.
Most of the candy will be gluten free! There will also be alternative non food options for those children that can’t/don’t eat candy.
All siblings are welcome, but officials ask they are mindful of others and make sure everyone gets their fair share of candy. More HERE.
Gem Village Easter Egg Hunt – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Gem Village Assisted Living (490 Emerald Ave, Blackfoot) The Gem Village Easter Egg Hunt is catered to those with special needs. We will have eggs with toys and other prizes for those dietary restrictions along with plenty of eggs filled with candy. We will a bouncy castle (weather permitting) and photos with our Easter Bunny. Pocatello Elks Lodge Annual Easter Egg hunt with Zoo Idaho – 10 a.m. at Ross Park then Zoo Idaho First, visit lower Ross Park at 10 a.m. for the Easter Egg Hunt. Ages 12 and under are welcome. Four age groups available.
Then visit Zoo Idaho for its opening day! There will be more Easter fun at the zoo.
Easter Egg Hunt – 10 a.m. at Rigby City Park Ashton Community Easter Egg Hunt – 10:30 a.m. at North Fremont High School For Kids ages 0 – 12. There will be lots of toys and candy. Also, 6 bikes and 4 Easter egg baskets will be given away.
Community Easter Egg Hunt – 11:00 a.m. to 11:02 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church & School (2071 12th St, Idaho Falls) Invite your family and friends to our community Easter Egg Hunt! Be sure to get here early, the hunt starts promptly at 11:00 am – it is over by 11:02 am! Our hunt is open to children up to 12 years old. EggCessible Easter Egg Hunt – 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Portneuf District Library-Stua rt Park Easter Egg Hunt for kids with special needs and their families. The hunt will be held, weather permitting, at Stuart Park across from the library, with parking available at the LDS Stake Center. There will be several hunts to choose from, including sensory sensitive, wheelchair accessible, and noisy eggs for visually impaired. We will also have several “general” hunts for siblings, and those who are okay with a little chaos. Lots of special guests, games and activities, and prizes and candy that are allergy friendly. The event is free, but a ticket is required. Tickets can be found at the Portneuf Library, the Marshall Public Library, STS, various therapy agencies, Lincoln Center, and schools with DLP classrooms. Where is the Easter Bunny? – 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. to Civitan Plaza – Downtown Idaho Falls (500 Park Avenue Idaho Falls) ‘Where is the Easter Bunny?’ Downtown of course!
Come downtown Saturday, March 31, 2018 from Noon to 3:00 pm and go on a hide-and-seek adventure to find the hidden bunnies! We have hidden the bunnies in downtown shops and you need to come find them! Come first to the Civitan Plaza (corner of B Street and Park Avenue) and we will give you a map. Once you have found all the bunnies go to ‘Weebee Toys’ (492 Shoup Avenue) where you will receive a prize and meet the Easter Bunny! More HERE.​​​

Free Easter Egg Hunt – 12 p.m. on the ISU Hutchinson Quadrangle The Idaho State University Kappa Sigma fraternity will host its annual Easter egg hunt on Sunday, April 1, at noon on the ISU Hutchinson Quadrangle. In addition to the egg hunt, the Easter Bunny will be there to meet the kids.
Monday, April 2, 2018 Idaho State University Athletics Annual Easter Egg Hunt – 5:30 p.m. on the Hutchinson Quadrangle Idaho State University Athletics will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Monday, April 2, at 5:30 p.m. on the Hutchinson Quadrangle. Student-athletes from all sports will be present at the event, giving them a chance to interact with families, students and all members of the community.
In the event of poor weather, the April 2 Easter Egg Hunt will be moved indoors at Holt Arena.
