Clean up begins at I.F. Zoo
The Idaho Falls Zoo is getting ready for it’s opening day, which is next week. Volunteers came and helped out with the zoo clean up day today. They raked leaves, cleaned up branches and put down fresh mulch. Volunteers say they love fixing it up for the animals.
“Not only do you get to work really hard and make it a better place for the animals to live,” said Dee Green, a zoo volunteer. “But you get to interact with some of the animals.”
The zoo opens for the spring season next Saturday, April 7th at 9 am.
