Fair, Fair weather
Sunny weather will continue with daytime highs into the mid 80’s. Light winds from the southwest with possible gusty winds later this week thanks to a weak thunderstorm threat. There is some smoke moving back into the region from the big fires in N. California and our regional fires in the Central Mountains. Monsoonal moisture works back into the region for Wednesday and Thursday. We’ll look for a few isolated thunderstorms for Central Idaho and the mountains along the Wyoming border. A weak cold front slides in Friday, dropping temps for Saturday, along with some gusty winds.
Tonight: Light winds with lows in the 40’s.
Wednesday and Thursday: Mid-80’s for highs and sunny. A few thunderstorms for Central Idaho, Far eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming.
Friday: Windy, mostly sunny, with highs into the mid to upper 80’s.
Saturday: Windy, mostly sunny with highs into the upper 70’s to low 80’s.
