Electrical fire at Fort Hall Casino

The Fort Hall Casino reported an electrical fire with the HVAC motor above the Cage area within the casino floor Thursday around 12:38 p.m.

General Manager of the Casino Pamela Gallegos said the fire was self-contained by the air ducts.

According to Gallegos, everyone evacuated out of the building safely.

The casino property was shut down for over an hour to properly ventilate the property.

It re-opened to the public around 2:00 p.m.

The cause of the electrical fire is unknown and is being further investigated.
