Professor named UI Center leader
Engineering professor Lee Ostrom has been picked to serve as interim executive officer of the University of Idaho Center in Idaho Falls. Ostrom will serve until a permanent executive officer is named.
The “EO” serves as public face of the University in southeast Idaho, supporting the university’s legislative and business engagement, and other duties.
A search for a permanent executive officer will come this academic year. The U of I’s Idaho Falls Center partners with the Idaho National Laboratory, Center for Advanced Energy Studies, and other state institutions in eastern Idaho.
