Police look for man who abandoned dog
UPDATE: The Rexburg Animal Shelter reports the person who left the dog has been contacted, and the situation should soon be resolved.

Rexburg Police are seeking your help identifying the man seen abandoning a dog in the attached surveillance video at the Rexburg Animal Shelter at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. 
The Rexburg Animal Shelter points out the issue isn’t the fact that he dropped the dog off but that he made no attempt to do it the right way. The shelter says staff members were at the shelter at that time.
The shelter says it is important they know where the animals come from so they can determine if it is missing and help get the animal back home.
