Ammon workers recognized for life saving actions

Ammon Mayor Sean Colletti recognized two city workers for “actions taken above the call of duty to save the life of another.”

Joshua Hart and Joseph Shaw came upon a car accident July 19. The vehicle had left the road and was submerged in a canal. The two Ammon employees were first on the scene and noticed there was a man inside the vehicle. They broke a window in the vehicle and freed the man from inside.

The two were honored by the Mayor at a city council meeting Thursday night.
