Loose pipe leads to Ammon man’s arrest
An Ammon man is in custody after an alleged drug pipe fell out of his truck in front of a police officer.
Idaho Falls Police spotted a red truck parked behind Bowlero on 1st Street at around 10:22 p.m. Sunday. The officer spoke with the driver and learned he was wanted for an outstanding warrant. When the officer asked Nicholas Murua, 25, to step out of the truck, the suspected pipe fell out of the truck onto the ground.
A check of the vehicle found suspected methamphetamines and heroin. Muura was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, in addition to his failure-to-appear warrant.
