League of Women Voters offering free rides to polling place

Early voting is underway in Bannock County.

If you have trouble getting to the polling office, the Pocatello League of Women Voters is offering free rides to the polls.

Early voting is Monday through Friday at the Bannock County elections office from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The league of women voters is volunteering to drive those who have no other way getting to the polls.

You can call or text Annie Harrison with the league of women voters at 208-317-0116.

You can also get to the polls using Pocatello Regional Transit.

If you are on a fixed route, the cost is a dollar.

There is door to door transportation in the city, which is two dollars each way.

Early voting ends November 2nd.
