Idaho Potato Commission names 3 E. Idaho officers

Two local men have been appointed to new positions on the Idaho Potato Commission.

Shipper Todd Cornelison and High Country Potatoes in Rexburg and grower Brett Jensen of the Idaho Falls-Hamer area were named to new three-year terms. Dan Nakamura of Idahoan Foods was appointed to a second three-year term.

Each year, the Potato Commission launches a new integrated marketing program to stimulate demand for all Idaho branded potato products, to educate the consumer about potato nutritional value, build consumer and customer loyalty to “Grown in Idaho” products and increase grower understanding and support for Potato Commission programs.

“As our industry evolves and demand for Idaho® potatoes in the United States and around the globe increases, I’m certain Todd and Brett’s experience and insight will be instrumental in helping the brand maintain its leadership position,” said IPC CEO and President Frank Muir.
