Jensen Grove storm system upgrade to begin
Blackfoot will close Jensen Grove Drive to through-traffic between Parkway north to Jensen’s Grove beginning Wednesday.
With the road closure, the city will begin a project updating the storm water system to alleviate street flooding on Parkway. It will also improve the system’s overall capacity.
New storm lines will be installed from Lilac onto Parkway, then north on Jensen Grove Drive, ending at the retention pond in Jensen’s Grove.
The road is expected to open to two-lane traffic again on Thursday, although construction will continue.
