Idaho Falls man booked on grand theft charges
An Idaho Falls man faces theft charges after Idaho Falls Police investigated some suspicious activity Saturday.
Police say officers were called to the 1500 block of West Broadway at around 10 a.m. Saturday. Police saw Jordan K. Hughes, 20, get out of a truck.
They learned the truck was reported stolen in November. Inside the truck officers found a handgun that had been reported stolen to the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office in September.
Hughes was arrested for grand theft of the truck and grand theft by possession of stolen property.
