Albertsons grants ISU $2 Million towards tech program

Idaho State University is receiving quite the gift this holiday season. The J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation decided to donate $2 million to ISU’s College of Technology.

They are currently renovating their Technical Education Complex. All the funds will go towards expanding their program as well as upgrades to the building. The executive director of Albertson Family Foundation, Roger Quarles says he couldn’t be any happier to give this grant.

“When you have 35 programs with students interested in learning that will help them in their career, moving at the pace it is here and expanding this incredible facility, those are the types of things we like to be involved in.”

This expansion will enhance student learning by promoting student engagement outside of a formal classroom setting.
