Christmas for the orphans of Mozambique

A local 14-year-old boy is bringing the Christmas sprite to an orphanage in Beira , Mozambique.

Ethan Corbett, of Rigby Idaho, was saving up some money for a new bike when he was 10 years old.

His cousin Josh Phillips was serving an LDS mission in Mozambique.

When Ethan learned of the children staying at an orphanage there, he decided to use his bike money to help the children in need.

Four years later and Ethan is still in pursuit to make those little boys and girls holiday dreams come true.

Ethan was asked by his cousin to do another project for him to raise money so that the children at the B eira orphanage could have a merry Christmas.

Ethan was eager to say yes, ” W e’de be happy to able to bring them Christmas this year.”

Ethan was not alone on this project he had the support of his neighbors, friends, and family.

His Mother, Farrah Corbett says, “The kids remember that their blankets and mosquito nets came from Ethen, and w e are really excited to do this project to help these kids who have nothing.”

On Christmas day Ethan’s cousin will be filming all the children opening their presents and will be posting the video to their Facebook page.

They want people who have donated to see the joy they brought this holiday season.
