Idaho Falls Fire Department hosting annual awards ceremony
The Idaho Falls Fire Department is recapping a successful year the at the department.
Everyone is invited to the event on February 6, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Colonial Theater
The department will recognize the EMS Provider of the Year, Firefighter of the YEar, new hires, promotions, a Citizen Award and Business Partner Awards.
Two life-saving awards will be presented.
One to a person who performed CPR at a local athletic club and another to a person who responded to a call from a PulsePoint App notification, both resulting in positive outcomes for the patient.
Opening ceremonies will be provided by Chief Hanneman, Idaho Falls Mayor Rebecca Casper, the IFFD Pipes and Drums, and Honor Guard.
City Councilwoman Michelle Ziel-Dingman will sing the National Anthem.
The event is free of charge.
