Cold With Some Snow Showers

We’ll see a few snow showers in the southern and eastern highlands this morning, as well as near Pocatello. A convergence zone is expected to form later on this evening and into the night, where another dusting to 4 inches are possible between Blackfoot and Burley, especially along I-86. Tomorrow morning’s commute will likely be impacted. Very cold temperatures are expected tomorrow, with more snow showers for the weekend.

Today: A chance of snow with a mostly cloudy sky. Highs into the low to upper 20’s. SW winds 10 to 15 mph becoming north northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.

Tonight: Lows primarily in the single digits with snow showers at the southern end of the Snake Plain.

Thursday: A slight chance of snow, mostly cloudy with highs near 20°.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with highs into the upper 20’s.
