Savage held on $1 million bond
CUSTER COUNTY, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) – Benjamin J. Savage is being held on a $1 million bond at the Custer County Jail after being charged with the murder of Charles McBride. Savage was arraigned Monday. A preliminary hearing is set for April 15.
According to the Custer County Sheriff’s Office, the case is sealed. The office says this is still an ongoing investigation.
Savage was arrested Saturday afternoon at the Idaho Falls Regional Airport on a warrant. He was held at the Bonneville County Jail until he was taken to the Custer County Jail. He is charged with the murder of 23-year-old Charles McBride, who had been missing since Feb. 25. McBride’s body was found burned and buried in the Morgan Creek Drainage, Sunday, March 24.
Due to the case being sealed, no other information is being released at this time.
