KIDK Wishes in Flight telethon a big success
KIDK Eyewitness News 3 and Fox 5 East Idaho held the Wishes in Flight telethon for Make-a-Wish Idaho Thursday. It was a great success because of viewers.
Make-a-Wish Idaho collects donated airline miles and uses those to grant wishes for Idaho Make-a-Wish kids. More than 150 children are on the list for wishes this year and 93 wishes were granted last year in Idaho.
The final tally was 199,329 donated airline miles. Several thousand dollars were also donated.
