Magistrate Commission interviewing candidates

The Seventh Judicial District’s Magistrate Commission will interview five candidates to fill a vacancy in the Bonneville County Magistrate Court. Judge Steven Boyce resigned his post to become a District Judge in June.

The five candidates include Daniel Clark, Wiley Dennert, Trevor Castleton, Manuel Murdoch, and Marvin Smith.

The commission will conduct interviews Friday, July 12 beginning at 9:15 a.m. in the Centennial Court Room of the Bonneville County Courthouse. The process is open to the public.

The commission will deliberate in a private session after the interviews.
