Pilot performs emergency landing in Bonneville County

Update:

A small airplane made an emergency landing Sunday afternoon in a field behind the Pioneer Equipment Co. near N Yellowstone Hwy. in Idaho Falls.

The pilot was the only one in the aircraft when he was forced to make the emergency landing when the plane’s engine stopped running.

The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office said the pilot did an amazing job landing the plane.

The plane will remain in the field until a mechanic is able to stop by and take a look at it.
