Rose Road interchange closure set Friday
The Rose Road Interchange construction project will mark another milestone Friday, when the Idaho Transportation Department closes the I-15 Exit 98 for paving. The interchange and the northbound and southbound off-ramps will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The construction includes widening the Rose Road overpass and increasing its vertical clearance. The project also includes reconfiguring and lengthening the interchange ramps and replacing two canal structures to support current traffic loads.
ITD will detour traffic around the closure. Travelers will get directions from digital messaging boards prior to the closures.
The reconstruction of the interchange should be complete by late this year.
