Caribou County fugitive arrested in Utah

After a week-long search, a man who ran from police last Saturday , July 20, is now in custody.

Caribou County Sheriff Kelly Wells said officers from the Logan, Utah Police Department arrested Michael Christopher Garza on a Caribou County warrant Friday.

Garza is charged with felony eluding a peace officer. The charge came after Garza was the subject of a police pursuit last Saturday night.

Garza was taken to the Cache County Jail in Logan and will later be transported to Caribou County. The case remains under investigation.
