IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The flags will be flown at half-mast today and the Idaho Falls Police Department is getting ready for a break in their new building. Here's some news you can use this morning.

1. The chad daybell murder trial resumes in Boise for day number 8 this morning.

It will start at around 8:30 a.m. this morning.

2. The new Idaho Falls police complex is set to open tomorrow.

This will be the city's first standalone facility for the Idaho Falls police department.

The ribbon cutting is at 1:30 tomorrow at 775 Northgate Mile.

3. Today flags all over the Gem state are at half-staff by order of Governor Brad Little.

It is in remembrance of Ada County Deputy Tobin Bolter who was killed in the line of duty over the weekend.

The flags will remain at half-staff until the memorial of Deputy Bolter has been held.
