Elon Musk makes his first appearance at a Trump rally and casts the election in dire terms

Elon Musk has praised Donald Trump as the only candidate “to preserve democracy in America.” The SpaceX and Tesla CEO stood alongside the GOP nominee at a rally Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, where Trump had survived an assassination attempt in July. Musk jumped in the air as he made his way to the podium for his first public appearance at a campaign event since endorsing Trump. Musk has hosted Trump in a conversation on X and he’s agreed to lead a government efficiency commission if Trump is elected. Musk also has created a super political action committee that’s supporting the Republican nominee.
