SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — A movie set armorer convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting of a cinematographer by Alec Baldwin on the set of the Western film “Rust” is scheduled to be sentenced next month. Court records show an April 15 sentencing is planned for Hannah Gutierrez-Reed in a Santa Fe, New Mexico, courtroom. Gutierrez-Reed was convicted by a jury last week in connection with the death during a movie rehearsal in October 2021. Involuntary manslaughter carries a sentence of up to 18 months in prison. Baldwin was indicted by a grand jury in January and has pleaded not guilty to an involuntary manslaughter charge. He faces a July trial date.
