St. Patrick’s Day on Park makes its return

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI)- For the first time in a few years, the Idaho Falls Downtown celebration of Saint Patrick's Day is returning.

The celebration will be on the 300 block of Park Avenue in Idaho Falls Idaho 83402. It will last for 4 hours, starting at 5 p.m. and ending at 9 p.m. The event will include live music and trained Irish Dancers performing as well.

It seems as if everyone at the event was also having a good time.

"I have fun participating in the events they have here in downtown Idaho Falls, and hanging out with all my friends," said Donna Bridges.

"I'm having a lot of fun. It's always a good time to come down for St. Patrick's day. One of the best holidays," Braxton Rese said.

In a sea of green, it was hard not to find someone who was not dressed in a festive manner.

"It's not, am I going to dress up? What am I going to wear?" Bridges said.

Organizers behind the event are impressed by the turnout of the event as well. "We've got the band to go in and everyone likes to come to see the bands and the live music. We've got good food, good snacks and just being downtown and especially after the winter, being able to come," said Courtney Hernandez the Idaho Falls Downton Development Corporation communications and event coordinator.
